Aquacel Extra Wound Dressing
Aquacel Extra wound dressing is crafted from two layers of Hydrofiber Technology, providing enhanced strength and absorbency. It is nine times stronger and offers 39% greater absorbency compared to the original Aquacel dressing.
Designed to manage moderate to highly exuding wounds, Aquacel Extra is cleared for the same indications as the original Aquacel dressing. It features two-dimensional strengthening fibers stitched into the dressing, which help maintain its integrity. These fibers do not gel upon contact with fluid, allowing them to remain stable and form a gel around the fibers, offering increased strength and simplifying removal.
