When to Use Sorbsan Flat:
Sorbsan Flat is ideal for managing wounds with moderate to high levels of exudate. If a wound does not produce enough exudate to activate the gelling action of Sorbsan’s fibers, it may be necessary to switch to a different dressing type. Sorbsan Flat is suitable for:
- Partial and full-thickness wounds
- Arterial, venous, and diabetic leg ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Post-operative wounds
- Fungating lesions
- Toe-nail avulsions
- Donor and graft sites
- Traumatic wounds
